The UNITED ANIMAL RESOURCE FOUNDATION (UARF) is a dynamic non-profit organization established to serve as a central, critical support hub for animal welfare efforts across the region. We are dedicated to maximizing the impact of rescue and care organizations by providing essential financial, logistical, and material resources. We believe that by uniting resources and working collaboratively, we can achieve far greater success in ending animal suffering and promoting humane treatment. UARF goes beyond direct rescue; we focus on empowering the grassroots organizations and front-line rescuers who are tirelessly saving lives every day. Our goal is to create a comprehensive safety net that ensures every animal in need—regardless of location or circumstance—has access to rescue, high-quality medical care, and permanent placement.

The UNITED ANIMAL RESOURCE FOUNDATION (UARF) functions as a critical lifeline for the animal welfare community, focusing on providing strategic, centralized resources to enhance the life-saving capacity of our partners (local rescues and shelters).
Our core programs and services include:
Veterinary Care Funding Program: We provide emergency financial grants directly to partner veterinary clinics to cover high-cost medical treatments, including specialized surgery, advanced diagnostics, and long-term care for animals rescued by our network who would otherwise be untreatable.
Resource Mobilization & Supply Chain: We maintain a central inventory of essential supplies, including high-quality food, specialized medical supplies, and shelter materials. We manage the logistics of quickly and efficiently distributing these resources to rescue groups and remote shelters across the region as needs arise.
Spay/Neuter and Preventative Health Initiative: We fund and organize high-volume, low-cost Spay/Neuter clinics in underserved communities to proactively address pet overpopulation. We also provide grants for mass vaccination and microchipping drives to improve community animal health.
Disaster and Crisis Response Fund: We maintain a dedicated fund and rapid-response protocol to assist our partners during natural disasters, large-scale hoarding cases, or other mass animal emergencies. This includes funding temporary shelter setup, evacuation transport, and immediate medical intervention.
Infrastructure and Capacity Building: We offer grants and consulting services to help small, grassroots rescues develop strong organizational capacity. This includes support for software, facility upgrades, and professional development training in areas like volunteer management and fundraising best practices.
Rescue Transport Network: We coordinate and fund the transport of animals from high-kill, overwhelmed shelters to areas with high adoption demand and available foster homes, significantly increasing adoption rates and saving lives.
Through these unified programs, UARF ensures that resources are allocated efficiently, enabling our partners to focus on what they do best: saving and caring for animals.
